Period Furniture Construction Workshop II

This is the second day of an optional two day weekend workshop that will be a in depth study of the design and embellishment techniques needed to refine your building of period furniture from a working 5th generation shop. Come learn the "how to's" of design and furniture joinery. We will cover different period and different regional characteristics. You will be shown how to saw out a cabriole leg then you will work one out. We will cover carvings to Federal inlays and inlaying methods. Many tricks of the trade will be reveal which can be used years down the road to aid in your future woodworking projects. This would be a class to take if you have any questions on period furniture construction enhancement. The cost for this one day class is $275 or $525 for the full two day weekend class. Lunch is included. A tool list will be provided so you can bring your own tools. Hours: Saturday 8:30 - 4:30
