During this week long class you will learn the period construction techniques used to build a copy of this antique Chippendale Hanging cupboard. You will have the option of either a raised panel door or a glass pain door, both with coped corners.This class will help with many of your future projects. You will learn corner cupboard angled face construction with a mortise and tenoned framed front. This will be an unequaled learning experience. The cost for this class is $1250 with lunch included. A tool and a cut list will be provided so you can bring your own hand tools and lumber.

You have the option of building a paneled door as pictured above. This door has mortise and tenons with coped molded corners. Either flat or raised panels are offered.
This door is also an option. Most students pick this door, You will learn how to build a traditional period mortise and tenoned door also with coped molded corners instead of mitered joints. Mortise and tenoned muntins. We have been told this is worth the whole class
This pieces has a drawer under the door. There are many different drawer front options available. Chippendale molded overlapping drawer front. Your could ad an updated drawer front with cock beading or a country drawer front with a screw (or scratch) beading. All will be discussed in class whichever you decide upon.

Each participant has their own workbench. We do use a mix of modern machinery and period hand tools. We have many different hand tools of ours to use if you need them.
We will offer all of our expertise to help you with this project plus countless others.
