During this two-day class we will cover many different aspects of drawer construction. We will cover early period drawer construction starting with a simple inset drawer and then overlapping drawers. Learn the ins and outs of drawer design, layout, and execution. We have many techniques to help improve your quality and time.

With this class you will build a drawer which is just a box. There are many different types of drawers we will cover during this 2-day class.
You will cut dovetails on the drawer sides and then mark the pins on the drawer fronts and backs.
We will show you how we build and veneer a serpentine drawer front.
After laying out and cutting the tails on the drawer sides you will mark the tails with a knife for the pins.
With the different types of drawers comes the different type of edge embellishments. We will cover overlapping drawers found in the Chippendale period and cock beaded drawers found in the federal period.
